It’s our first year anniversary in the unit!! It is incredible how a year has passed since we moved into our new premises the year. Such a lot has happened over such as taking on an extra staff member. Also, being Highly Commended in the North Notts Business Awards are just a couple.
We are now wanting an apprentice to help with the marketing and manufacturing.
An excellent 2017. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and helped us on our way and to all our past and prospective customers. Dave Pickles.
Paintman loves to know what it’s customers are using their paint for! It is brilliant to see the entrepreneurial way that people use our paint to help them create innovative businesses using Land Rovers, horse trailers etc (we have no photos of etc’s yet!)
Environmental awareness at Paintman has been a concern ever since it began. We have tried to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We have just got hold of a new recycling toy. This means we can use recycled cardboard waste all the time instead of slinging it in the re-cycle bin!!!
This is a really satisfying way of getting rid of a mountain of useless boxes. So, Paintman are helping North Notts by being more environmentally responsible and efficient. This shredded cardboard is used to pack all of our parcels sent out to customers, carrying on the recycling chain!
Many of the business’ in the Trinity Park Industrial Estate help out our recycling campaign by bringing their waste cardboard to us! This not only helps the environment, but also helps us immensely with our packing.
P.s. anyone want to buy a box of recycled cardboard packing material??? 🙂
Its taken a lot of research and time to get there, but with the approval of a Series 2 Club Member and a restorer from the ‘Old School’ Paintman now stocks Land Rover Series 2 Engine Blue Paint and also the 2 Litre Engine Grey Coach Paint, in addition to the Series 3 Engine Blue Coach Enamel and the Recon Military engine Blue paints already in our Land Rover engine Paint range. It all takes time, passion and a bit of luck sometimes.
The next challenge is Series 2A Dark Grey… its a bit like the old British Railways advert… We are getting there!!!
