Description
Underbody Protection. Also known as Underframe protection. This comes in a traditional black shade with a satin sheen.
A 1K MIO anticorrosive vinyl topcoat. Particularly designed for use in severe corrosive environments to give great protection against water ingress, UV light and degradation of the surface. It is suited to both brushing and spray application. Underbody protection gives great coverage and it’s oil and diesel resistance makes it an excellent choice for the underbody of a restoration.
Underbody Black is ideal for hard wearing areas and anywhere that is subject to oil or diesel contamination. This includes vehicle underbodies and chassis. Underbody can also be overpainted if you are wanting a different shade as it provides a great protection basecoat.

- Surface Preparation. Ensure surfaces being painted are dry, and cleaned to remove all contaminants, using our Surface cleaner 2800 for painted surfaces or our Surface Cleaner 2802 for bare metal, these will remove oil and other contamination off the surface to be painted. Just prior to painting, wipe the surface with a Tack Rag to remove dust and other loose contaminants.
- Coverage. 6.2 square meters per litre @ 100 microns dft. 2 square meters per 400ml aerosol.
