These are paper cone filters with a 190 micron nylon mesh. To furthur ensure clean surfaces for prior to painting. Wash and clean surfaces prior to paint preparation. Remove any dust or loose dirt that may have settled on the surface to be painted using a tack rag. This is especially important in the last moments before spraying. If this practice is omitted there is a significant risk that the subsequently applied coatings will suffer from elements of dust visible in the final coat
Use Paintman Surface cleaner 2800 for painted surfaces, or our Surface Cleaner 2802 for bare metal. These will remove oil and other contamination off the surface. Just prior to painting, wipe the surface with the Tack Rag to remove dust and other loose contaminants that remain. Its always surprising how much will be removed. Preparation is 80% of painting.
