Bronze Green Chassis Paint Enamel Protection. An Alkyd based synthetic enamel suited to both brushing and spray requirements. Bronze Green chassis paint gives good performance, with it’s oil and diesel resistance making it an excellent choice. In a traditional green gloss coach paint. Bronze Green Chassis Paint is ideal for the hard wearing underbody areas. Traditionally used for the chassis and attached parts of the early Series 1 Land Rovers and ex military vehicles.

- Type of paint. Paintman Chassis Black Enamel Paint is a traditional, synthetic enamel. It is ideal for brushing, rollering or spray application. If you are choosing to spray, you should use Paintman Thinners. Paintman Chassis Black Enamel also gives an extra long wet edge time allowing it to be brushed without brush drag.
- Surface Preparation. Ensure surfaces being painted are dry, and cleaned to remove all contaminants, using our Surface cleaner 2800 for painted surfaces or our Surface Cleaner 2802 for bare metal, these will remove oil and other contamination off the surface to be painted. Just prior to painting, wipe the surface with a Tack Rag to remove dust and other loose contaminants.
- Spray application. All of our Enamels will need to be thinned by around 5-10% using Paintman Coach Enamel Thinners. This gives a high quality finish whilst maintaining correct drying times.
