Thinners & Additives

Paint Thinners and additives that are compatible with Paintman Paint Enamels, primers and Undercoats.

Thinners are used for diluting the paint when spraying to allow the paint/filler primer/undercoat to flow smoothly out of the spray gun and avoid splattering. It is recommended that you use 5% – 10% ratio of thinners to paint. this ratio can vary on multiple factors including ambient air temperature and spray gun size. Thinners can also be used when brushing, it can improve the user experience help improve the flow helping to give that smoother finish.

Always ensure that correct thinners are used for the correct paint as cross contamination can cause curdling or paint degradation.
